Scalable Vector Graphics:

SVG is an XML-based language for drawing vector graphics in a web browser or SVG viewer. It has the capability of incorporating graphics and form items just like HTML or XHTML web pages and can be driven by a server-side scripting language to deliver dynamic content with a flash-like experience. Its advantage over flash is that it is in the XML family and it automatically integrates with HTML CSS even JavaScript to deliver advanced functionality and interactivity. SVG can contain forms interactive components and animation and can be embedded into XHTML browsers with native SVG support.
