Is Article Marketing Dead?

Pre-Wordpress' birth and the critical mass of blogs, Internet Marketing Professionals used many other tactics, one of which was writing value-based informational articles and submitting them to several article directories for online publishers and website owners to repost. This type of article marketing was done for years before blogging.

What is Article Marketing?

Wikipedia defines Article Marketing as:

Get Your Blog On

Well here it is my very first blog. My first thought, who came up with that name? My second thought, what in the world am I going to blog about? So I googled and googled in search of some ground breaking news to insure that my first blog would be inspiring. After a general consensus of internet searching, it occurred to me that I was not alone in my search for inspiration.

Internet Influence on Election 2008

Can I just say that as the last person in a fully developed country that doesn't have cable OR high definition television, the internet is like a treasure trove for me? As eluded by the title, the book offers tips and alternatives to avoid being that no name person calling and asking for someone’s business without some type of connection.

I imagine blog owners feel the same way about receiving new comments with links from strangers as business owners on the receiving end of a cold call. I call them cold comments. Below are some similarities between cold calling & cold commenting.

Blog Action Day

What would happen if every blog published posts discussing the same issue, on the same day?Blog Action Day
One issue. One day. Thousands of voices.

Artists, Bloggers, Marketers, and Fans - Online at Comic Con '07

The world of Comic Con prior to the onset of major film interests has always been considered the hallowed ground of the œnerd. Those attending the four day celebration of all things comic-related were for the most part dismissed as a gathering of folks loyal to a genre of entertainment outgrown by the general public; subsequently, attendance at Comic Con has mostly been curtailed throughout the years to hardcore fans.
