The Challenge:
Monarch Air is a Dallas, Texas based flight center that attracts a national audience of student pilots. Monarch has grown steadily since its founding in 1986 to become the largest Cessna training center in the world.1 Cessna rewarded Monarch Air by making it one of only five facilities world wide to be certified for Cessna sales, training, maintenance, and parts distribution.
Monarch needed to redesign their website to present their expanded service offerings. The primary goal of the website was to provide a best-in-class, highly usable website that would serve the needs of a diverse audience. A secondary goal was to increase traffic to the site both from the Dallas area and nation wide.
The Solution:
LevelTen redesigned the site to improve the look and to make the site more user-friendly. Particular attention was paid to site navigation to support Monarch's expanded service offerings. LevelTen also optimized the site to maximize the site's search engine placement.
The Results:
The redesigned site produced immediate results. One week after the site launch, a new student signed up for a $20,000 private pilot program. He chose Monarch after finding MonarchAir.com at the top of Google search results. He researched several other area facilities in the area but he chose Monarch because their website was "the best he had found." The initial investment was returned in less than four weeks and is attributed with generating over $100,000 in additional revenue each year.
Six months after launching the site and implementing LevelTen's Search Engine Marketing recommendations, an analysis of the 38 targeted keywords across five major search engines showed 66 first place listings and 166 top five placements.
The client has estimated that the website is generating ten times the revenue of the cost of the website every year.
