jQuery & JavaScript with Nathan Smith and Matt Vasquez
The second episode of The Ten Spot Intensive deals with a popular programming language, JavaScript, and an up-and-coming framework within that language, jQuery. This episode features guest appearances by Nathan Smith and Matt Vasquez of Fellowship Technologies.
About Nathan Smith:
Nathan Smith is a goofy guy who has been building websites since late last century. He enjoys hand coding HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. When not elbow deep in code, he dabbles in design and information architecture. He has also written for online and paper publications such as Adobe Developer Center, Digital Web, and .Net Magazine. He has spoken at venues including Adobe MAX, BibleTech, Echo Conference, Ministry 2.0, Refresh Dallas, and Webmaster Jam Session.
Nathan works as a designer + front-end developer at FellowshipTech.com. Off the clock, he is wrapping up a Master of Divinity degree from Asbury Theological Seminary via correspondence.
He is the founder of the Godbit Project, a community resource aimed at helping churches and ministries make better use of the web. He is also the creator of the 960 Grid System, a lightweight framework for sketching, designing, and coding page layouts.

About Matt Vasquez:
Matt Vasquez works as a senior UX architect at Fellowship Technologies. He crafts user interfaces with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and love. His design tool of choice is Adobe Fireworks, and he is a closed-beta tester for the upcoming CS5 release. He is an Apple fanboy and software design enthusiast who occasionally writes iPhone apps. In his spare he dabbles in Ruby on Rails. He also enjoys a good round of golf, boasting two hole-in-ones throughout his amateur career.
Matt is a Fort Worth native, and is adamant that FW is not the same thing as DFW.

Just so you know: IE8 does the same thing as Chrome with the different processes for each tab (IE7 did it for each different security zone). I believe this was before Chrome was released as well, so they did it before Google did.
