Senior Web/Print Graphic Designer

Seeking full time experienced ad agency level web and print graphic designer. Freelances for contract work will also be considered.

Job Description


Position will include graphic design for web sites, multimedia and print media including logos, collateral, direct mail, large format print and POS displays. On a typical project you will be asked to develop visual concepts and designs that reflect the business and creative requirements from a creative strategy. The job will also include assisting in research and development of creative strategies.

Positions may also involve managing other designers to complete production of websites, multimedia and print works.

Typical Tasks

  • Creation of original visual/multimedia concepts
  • Creation of vector and raster graphics for web, multimedia and print
  • Development of branding rules to maintain consistent client brands
  • Pre-press print management

Skills


Self-taught designers who have achieved a high level of design and those with design or marketing related degrees welcome.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of corporate style graphic design experience
  • Ability to accurately translate business requirements into marketing oriented creative design
  • Strong oral communication skills / ability to communicate with clients, vendors, partners and staff
  • Ability to collaborate with a team or work autonomously
  • Thoroughness and highly detail minded
  • Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator or Macromedia Freehand
Bonus Skills:
  • Macromedia Flash
  • Print design with print pre-press experience
  • HTML, CSS, Javascript, PHP, CGI, ASP, etc.
  • Marketing strategy experience
  • Project management
  • Team management
  • Business process improvement experience
