Building a Stronger Community in 2010

This week, the folks at LevelTen have been discussing our goals for the New Year. Most people will refer to that as a "resolution", but I prefer the term goal. Maybe its semantics, but the way I see it, as resolution implies failure (since statistically, most resolutions do fail), while a goal is something you consistently work to achieve.

An article over at AdAge.com explains how the Federal Trade Commission has a proposed plan to start regulating viral marketing and blogs. As part of its review of its advertising guidelines, the FTC is proposing that word-of-mouth marketers and bloggers, as well as people on social-media sites such as Facebook, be held liable for any false statements they make about a product they're promoting, along with the product's marketer.

Well here it is my very first blog. My first thought, who came up with that name? My second thought, what in the world am I going to blog about? So I googled and googled in search of some ground breaking news to insure that my first blog would be inspiring.
