Well a while back Matt introduced me to this nifty little javascript library called moo.fx built on top of the prototype and mootools framework. So after playing with moo.fx for a while I began to delve into the mootools framework itself which is pretty flexible, lightweight, and very easy to use. JavaScript libraries and frameworks have become increasingly popular over the years with scriptaculous, in my opinion, being one of the most popular. While I would not suggest building a design around the kind of effects that may be possible I definitely think that they can add life and even user functionality where it may not have been before.
And of course whenever I read blog entries like these I would always like to see an example so in effort to not disappoint, click here to view the LevelTen Team mooified
