I have a somewhat strange question that I do not think has been asked previously.
I have set up the script in the manner outlined in your documentation. It has been initialised and is functioning as it should. No problem there.
My problem is with the insertion of the html code to each page. By a problem I mean:
the site onto which I need to insert the code is HTML 4.01 Transitional. I also use CSS extensively on the site. When I insert the code it is fine, however, when I go to validate the pages it tells me that many of the attributes are not valid. Now my question is this:
I can change the attributes toconform to W3C standards, that is easy enough, BUT... if I do this "will it have an adverse effect on the script?
I really would appreciate your feedback on this matter as I think that this counter is superb and an ideal solution for the site that I am running.
Many thanks in advance.

PS: As an example, your website is HTML 4.01 Transitional as well but it does not validate. You can check this by going here:
http://validator.w3.org/
http://validator.w3.org/
and pasting your url http://www.leveltendesign.com/L10Apps/HC/
into the box provided and pressing validate. This is the problem I have. Suggestions please.... |
