Every part of install was working fine. All permissions set, MySQL fine, blue thing on the counter.php page came up, went to the L10HC_Reporter.html page, saw the flash link to the LevelTen page, but no log on ever comes up!
What gives?
Help much appreciated,

Make sure the path in the L10HC_FlashParams.txt file matches the domain you are accessing the L10HC_Reporter.html page from. In other words, if you have two parked domains dom1.com and dom2.com and you access the Reporter via dom1.com/L10HC_Reporter.html but the FlashParams file has dom2.com/L10HC_Admin.php, the Reporter won't work.
For security reasons Flash does not allow cross domain data access so change the FlashParams.txt file so that match.
That is the problem 90% of the time. |

OK, I got mine to work with one small change to the L10HC_FlashParams.txt file.
It had set my path as:
res=OK&cgiPath=http://www.letsgetthewordout.com/L10Apps/L10HC_Admin.php&acct=&
I simply removed the "www." and set it manually to this:
res=OK&cgiPath=http://letsgetthewordout.com/L10Apps/L10HC_Admin.php&acct=&
Saved it to my server and bingo, no timing out.

I even tried that, and when I tried it, it didn't work! I went back to edit the FlashParams Txt file, and it came back with the "www" thing in it.
EDIT: If you want the thing to work, copy the text in the FlashParams.txt file, Then, delete the file. create a new text file, copy the text from the FlashParam.txt file and rename it as it originally was. Then remove the "WWW" part and Voila! It works! |

Sorry, I've tried all your suggestions, and I still can't get it working. I am running the counter locally on my machine using PHP 5.1.0b2, Apache Server 2.0.54 and MySQL 4.1.
What's wrong? |

| I seem unable to overcome the Server Timeout message in spite of having done everything suggested above to the tiniest detail. Can please anyone suggest a solution to get the thing going? |
